Hello! This is my 2nd blog post of the day.
As we are still in lockdown and dealing with this virus we also carry on with our distance learning. Term 4 has started and we flooded with heaps work that needs to be done! I've done a lot work so far but right now I'm on with my writing!
I wanted to share my PSA witch means "public service announcement"
We had to create something like a poster,video,slides etc.
I chose a video because it would be more interesting to see.

Kia ora Charmy. What an awesome PSA. It looked very professional just like something you'd see on TV. Is there a way to slow it down so people don't have to hit pause? I also like the way you suggested Devan's post. What makes you think that is such a good example?

DeleteNo there is no way to slow it down. I had a choice to make it have music for the whole show or make it stop in the middle and weirdly have no music and have the show slow enough for the person to read. I didn't want it to be weird so I just kept it the way it is. It was "Devanshi's post" not "Devan's post"
I think it's a good example cause it she just added a few words and I got what the whole thing is trying to say. A bit like a phrase.
Thanks for your reply Charmy and apologies to Devanshi. That sounds like a tough choice around the music but I think you made a god choice and it's good that you gave people the option to pause the video. Good problem solving. Do you think you'll use Powtoon as a tool in other subjects?
DeleteHi again Phil. I had heaps of options to choose from but I really like this song so I added this one on. We could use whatever we wanted like google slides or canva, etc. I used powtoon cause my sister taught me how to create a video on it.

ReplyDeleteWOW! That was an amazing PSA. I looked like an actual advertisement made by the government. I liked the background music. I also like the characters you used. My favourite part was in the end when the lady was writing in her laptop. How did you do that? How long did it take you to make the PSA?

I also love the backround music.
I also love that lady at the end. I just inserted the picture of her and then made it that she moves her hand. I then inserted a picture of a laptop then that's all I did. It took me 45 minutes or up to an hour.
