Today we did an experiment about bees.
We all got a dead bee, some tweezers and a magnifying glass. I felt really scared to touch the bee because it was really huge and terrifying. But it was furry and dead. We got a worksheet that had some questions we had to answer. I was lucky and I got a queen bee. We took the magnifying glass and looked at the bees legs and abdomen. We also wrote five facts about bees. It was really cool.

I've also been learning about bees as my sister and nephew are looking into getting a hive. They live on a couple of acres in Pukekohe. Tell me more about what your learnt.... bees are so interesting!!
